Short Hands-on exhibits to see the theoretical lessons come to life
Resembles a figure skater to show how moment of inertia influences the rotational speed. It also shows how Work is consistent regardless of spinning fast / slow and where motion is linear or rotational
Coming Soon: This exhibit shows that the algebra in equations really do predict the projectile motion. This is exhibit debuts shortly after Christmas.
Three balls have the same exterior volume, but they have different weights. They will fall at the same acceleration, except.... when aero drag starts to eclipse gravity
Participants get to feel how wind can generate lift to lift airplanes or downforce to give racecars more traction. The flap is adjustable
Building on the previous exhibit, air rushing between a wing and the ground generates a surprising increase in downforce as the gap narrows. If the gap is cut off, the downforce is cut off too in a jarring manner.
Building on the previous exhibit, participants get to measure for themselves how downforce increases the traction. They'll learn why race teams focus on aerodynamics because it gives additional traction without the cost of speed robbing mass.

Participants build their own custom Leaping Leopard from an assortment of colored parts. By varying the spring stiffness and the distance the spring is compressed, they get to explore the simple equation of F = kx.
Kids enjoy adding light to their drawings. The wiring behind the card helps explain how the electrons need a path back to the battery (ie a circuit)
This lecture kit teaches how electrons follow a path in order to perform work. The tiny Santa Clauses helped explain the circuit. The paddle was actuated by a marble travelling down a tube with different starting heights to explain Potential Energy and then Voltage.
